Triton Senior Takes Home 1st Place in Robotics Competition

The THS Robotics team competed in the WPI Robotics competition last Saturday, taking home the Champion Trophy for the second year as well as Judge’s favorite trophy.
Congratulations to Seniors, Nate Piccard and Zach Benesh for designing the winning robot. This is Nate’s second year winning first place at the competition.
Maddie MacDonald, Ivy Huang, Adrianne Deeb, Zach Godfrey and Nate Ewell also made it to the semi-finals with their two respective robots.  Rounding out the team were Mia Surridge, Ross Lyons, Alexander Chouvelon, Tyler Godfrey, Sam Bell, Jonah Burd, Eric Buczala and Alex Wing.
The team entered a total of 5 robots into the competition. The kids did a fabulous job working collaboratively (and under time constraints set by WPI) designing, building and coding their robots for the competition.  Great job to all!
