You may have heard that Facebook is making some changes to their News Feed. In an effort to bring more of a community focus to the social media platform, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg announced that the News Feed would prioritize news from friends and family, as well as local news stories and events, and show less from businesses, brands and media. “I’m changing the goal I give our product teams from focusing on helping you find relevant content to helping you have more meaningful social interactions,” wrote Zuckerberg.
What does this mean to me?
Unless you regularly engage with the Triton District’s Facebook page and posts on your News Feed, you will likely see fewer and fewer of our posts. However, there is a way to combat this. Simply prioritize Triton in your News Feed by selecting the page as “see first.”
How do I do this?
It’s actually quite easy. Simply go to the Triton Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/TritonRegionalSchoolDistrict, click on “Following” and from the drop down menu, choose “See First,” as shown below.
See you soon!
